Dr. Marc Sirota
Dr. Marc Sirota is Dr. Lippman’s surgical associate. They have worked together in the operating room for more than thirty years. Dr. Sirota is a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, Rensselear Polytechnic Institute, and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. He completed his residency in ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr Sirota is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr Lippman, and Dr Sirota utilize their considerable joint expertise, in planning and executing your surgical procedure to facilitate the best possible outcome.
Dr. Shira Nissel
Dr. Shira Nissel is a licensed optometrist. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Queens College City University of New York where she graduated summa cum laude and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry and was the recipient of the Schnurmacher Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement. Dr. Nissel is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), and the New York State Optometric Association (NYSOA).
Her experience includes practicing full scope optometry with a specialized emphasis on contact lens fittings, including specialty fits and multifocal/bifocal contact lenses as well as astigmatism lenses. She also performs pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery. Dr. Nissel performed vision screenings for New York City area schools as a part of her training at SUNY and volunteered providing eye care to the athletes at the Special Olympics.
Dr. Arlene Schwartz
Dr. Arlene Schwartz is known for her thorough, unhurried approach that creates a comfortable environment for our patients.
Dr. Schwartz began her career as an optometric technician in 1976, before graduating as a Doctor of Optometry from SUNY State College of Optometry in 1983. She was an Associate Clinical Professor on staff at the Optometric Center ofNew York and worked at the Levin Eye Institute and Surgery Center in Ohio. In 1989, she returned to practice optometry in New York and the Westchester community, opening her own practice in 1997. Dr. Schwartz continues to study and is dedicated to finding the latest techniques and technology to give you state-of-the-art eye care.
Stephanie Molina, MBA Surgical Counsellor
Stephanie Molina is our Surgical Counsellor and will help guide you through the choices available to you at the time of your cataract or refractive surgery. She is happy to explain the many advantages of femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery as well as the role of multifocal and/or toric intraocular lenses to support your lifestyle. Stephanie is trained to answer your questions with regard to what type of cataract or refractive surgery would be most advantageous for your unique needs.
Dr. Lippman is pleased to have a dedicated staff whose mission is to help him deliver the finest surgical and medical eye care in a compassionate, courteous manner. The highly trained support staff at Dr. Lippman’s New Rochelle office has extensive experience in advanced eye care testing and treatment. The dedicated team includes ophthalmologists, optometrists, ophthalmic assistants and refractive surgery and premium lens consultants. The latter consultants provide patients with extensive information regarding various IOL options. While standard aspheric IOLs are more often chosen by patients who undergo cataract surgery in Westchester, Dr. Lippman also offers these sophisticated implants as part of his leading-edge approach to treatment.
